CHAMPAIGN, Ill., June 17 -- The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign issued the following news release:
A record number of University of Illinois students and recent graduates have been awarded scholarships by the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2008-09 academic year. Two other candidates have been named alternates in the competition.
