ALFRED, N.Y., Sept. 3 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
The Alfred State College men's soccer team couldn't get the offense going as they fell in both games at the SUNY Delhi Tournament over the weekend. The Blue and Gold, 0-2-1 on the year, fell 6-0 to SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday and 2-1 on Sunday versus SUNY Delhi.
Cobleskill scored three goals in each half as they displayed a high powered offense. The Tigers out-shot the Pioneers 21 to 11 . . .
