ALFRED, N.Y., Sept. 8 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
The Alfred State College opened up their campaign by winning the Mohawk Valley CC Tournament for the second year in a row. The Lady Pioneers were a perfect 5-0 on the day.
In pool play the Blue and Gold downed Adirondack CC, 30-14 & 30-16, Fulton Montgomery CC, 30-15 & 30-20, and SUNY Cobleskill, 30-21 & 30-15. In the semifinals, ASC downed Herkimer CCC, 30-20 & 30-9 to . . .
