ALFRED, N.Y., Sept. 26 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
Genesee CC scored with 5:38 remaining in the contest to break a 1-1 tie en route to a 2-1 Western New York Athletic Conference victory over Alfred State on Tuesday afternoon. The win improves the Lady Cougars to 7-2-1 and drops the Lady Pioneers to 3-4-1.
