ALFRED, N.Y., Oct. 6 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
Genesee CC was able to take advantage of costly mistakes by Alfred State in the Western New York Athletic Conference Semifinals. The Cougars advanced to the finals with a 11-7 victory while ASC finishes the fall season with a 10-6 record.
The Pioneers got on the board first with two runs in the 1st inning but the Cougars answered right back with two of their own. Both teams scored a run . . .
