ALFRED, N.Y., Nov. 5 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
The Alfred State College wrestling team opened up their 2007-08 season at the University of Buffalo Open. The Pioneers wrestled athletes from some of the top programs in the Northeast and sophomore Gallaway Longenecker (Manheim, PA) placed in the 133 lb. competition.
Longenecker fell 6-2 to Tyler Milonas (Rutgers) in his opening match but rebounded with wins over Brian Bollette (Rutgers) . . .
