ALBANY, N.Y., May 6 -- The Department of Labor has issued the following apprenticeship news release:
The Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, Local 106, will conduct recruitment from May 14, 2008 through April 15, 2009 for five operating engineer (universal equipment) apprentices, State Labor Commissioner M. Patricia Smith announced today. Applications will be accepted for five openings from Local 106's jurisdiction.
