WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- The office of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., issued the following news release:

Schumer and Hillary Rodham Clinton today announced their push to secure the over 2,000 jobs at Central New York's New Process Gear after Magna International, Inc, its parent company, announced that it is considering closing the plant.
