ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 8 -- New York State Sen. Kenneth P. LaValle, R-Port Jefferson (1st District), issued the following news release:
The New York State Senate will convene a special session this Friday to take up property tax legislation and mandate relief bills designed to reduce costs for schools and ensure adequate resources for New York State's students.
