ALBANY, N.Y., July 29 -- Assemblyman David R. Townsend Jr., R-Kirkland (115th District), issued the following statement:
"I am happy to see Gov. Paterson propose action for New York State's current financial mess," said Assemblyman David Townsend (R,C,I,WF-Sylvan Beach). "He and his advisors have finally taken some age-old advice to heart: When you're in a hole, stop digging.
However, an 'emergency' session ought to be exactly that; Governor Paterson' . . .
