TWO STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK POTSDAM STUDENTS GET INTO HARD-ROCK FOR GEOLOGY INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

POTSDAM, N.Y., Sept. 14 -- The State University of New York at Potsdam issued the following news release:

Instead of flipping burgers or beach bumming this summer, two SUNY Potsdam geology seniors spent their summers interning in the mining industry.

Jacob Beaudoin of Norfolk worked as an ore control geologist at the Cortez Gold Mines owned by Barrick, located in north-central Nevada. Vincent Schlageter of Rochester worked as an ore control geologist at the Balmat z . . .
