CHADRON, Neb., Nov. 16 -- Chadron State College issued the following news release:
Despite the fact that he missed all but one play in three games late in the season because of a foot injury, Chadron State College tailback Danny Woodhead is one of six finalists from the Southwest Region for the Harlon Hill Trophy. Last year, Woodhead won the trophy, which goes to the outstanding football player in NCAA Division II.
Voting on the six regional finalists was conducted . . .
