FORT MANDAN, N.D., Aug. 2 -- The office of Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) held a meeting at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Saturday to discuss development of the Fort Mandan. He said historic site is one of North Dakota's "crown jewels" and is an important piece of the state's tourism industry.
