WASHINGTON, June 25 -- The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture issued the following newsletter:
The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) announced June 19 several steps the agency is taking to assess the impact on the 2008 crop acreage from the impact of the extraordinary rainfall and flooding in the Midwest.
