ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- The National Association of Federal Credit Unions issued the following news release:
The Georgia House last week approved a bill to set a $3 cap on fees to consumers seeking a temporary or permanent freeze on their credit report information, reports said.
The measure is similar to other state-passed credit freeze laws. Approved by the Georgia House last Thursday, the measure was headed for the state Senate.
