KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 23 -- The Kansas City Missouri School District has issued the following news release:

Prospective students are encouraged to pick up an audition packet, prepare for their genre, and contact the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts for an audition appointment during the month of August. Classes in each arts genre will be taught in the upcoming year: theater/technical theater, vocal/instrumental music, dance, visual arts, and creative writing.
