JASPER, Ala., July 22 -- The Jasper City Schools issued the following news release:
Beth Able, elementary art teacher in the Jasper City Schools, and Beth Kennedy, science department head and biology teacher at Walker High School, are the recipients of the first grants from the Educational Excellence Foundation.
Both teachers were recognized at the Board of Education meeting on July 21, 2008. Grants were awarded in the amount of $1000 to each teacher.
