TAHLEQUAH, Okla., July 17 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
The 56th Annual Cherokee National Holiday will offer several exciting ways for softball players and fans alike to enjoy their favorite sport. The Fast-Pitch Tournament and Co-Ed Slow-Pitch Tournament will begin on Friday, August 22, at the ball fields of Sequoyah Schools.
