Targeted News Service is a Washington-area based news service and editorial support company. We write news and features from Washington, D.C., we digest information for trade associations and business clients, we compile newsletters and we upload data to data banks. Targeted News Service is a Cyber Newsroom.

We create a weekly congressional vote chart on how your senators and members of the House voted, summaries of federal contract awards, information about federal contracting opportunities, reports on government documents and report on public utterances of all types. Some of these materials are branded US Fed News, which is an alliance between Targeted News Service and HT Syndication. Through this alliance, we are now working with Nexis/Lexis, Factiva, Newsbank and Dialog. Our news clients range from Amarillo to Torrance, Calif., and from Albany to Buffalo.

We need a wide range of personnel to support opportunities, including 1) Freelance reporters in Washington; 2) Freelance Cyber copy editors; 3) Freelance feature writers; 4) News digesters who can take common news stories and boil them down extremely quickly and to a targeted audience; 5) Marketing and sales assistance from those who have an entrepreneurial mind and who want to help us grow for a sales commission.
